I’m overwhelmed by the support and reaction to my previous posting. The outpouring of offers from office space and living accommodation in Vancouver, to offering to call your Representatives is most heartening and I thank all of you very much. Thanks also in no small part to all the luminaries mentioned in the previous posting.

I’ve also seen some harsh comments about immigration authorities, but in all fairness they are just doing their job, it’s change in legislation that we really need. I’d highly recommend following the post Dave maintains of all the StartupVisa writings.

Several comments have also expressed despair that something as vague as a Startup Visa can never take off, please direct your discourse to Brad Feld’s post about this.

As for me, I’m playing the waiting game, I’ve tried calling the consulate but there is no means to reach the Non-Immigrant Visa section. I will keep this blog up to date on the happenings.
